Samson and Seaweed
Lapland Buntings cautiously watched me paint this view of Samson. Already in summer plumage they seemed more captious of the sky than my movements. I had seen a Sparrowhawk at Porth Hellick the previous day so maybe they felt safer closer to the artist that the sky.
Apple Tree Bay
At low tides it is possible to make out the boundaries of ancient fields but today the tide was hiding the secrets beneath this bay in Tresco where the footprints of Oliver Cromwell were once made.
